Replugged Music School

Looking for pop music lessons in Singapore? Replugged Music School, established in 2002 and based at 249B Victoria Street, Bugis Village, teaches practical pop ukulele, guitar, piano and violin, plus music theory. The school says it was the first pop music school in Singapore to offer ukulele classes.

The Pop Ukulele course runs in two stages of 8 one-hour sessions, in groups of 3 to 5 participants. Stage 1 is for total beginners with no musical experience and covers tuning, basic chords, strumming and plucking patterns, and reading tablature and chord sheets. Stage 2 builds on it with syncopated rhythms, introductions and interludes, and chord-melody playing. Classes are offered as individual, duo or group formats.
